Working with Cloth Nappies

We love cloth nappies for many different reasons here at Banana Clothing - -Cute fabrics and cloth nappy covers! This is the reason we do what we do! We LOVE to dress our Bub in his gorgeous nappy covers. And I can't wait to share our passion of cute fabrics turned into cloth nappy covers with you! - They're better for the environment This one's a given, stopping large amounts of nappies (when my baby was in disposables as a newborn he was going through 5-7 nappies A DAY!) This is a crazy amount of nappies to throw into landfill. - Toxic chemicals in nappies This one isn't a surprise either! There's chemicals in nappies that help them collect as much liquid as they do! Now - We're not nappy cleaning experts but our nappy covers are easy to keep clean if you stick to a good routine! We wash our cloth nappies on a 40 degree prewash, and then a 40 degree main wash. We don't advice to go over 40 degrees as this can cause delamination on the PUL. We don't recommend tumble drying. If you'd like to order any of our nappy covers, head to our shop! All our fabrics can be made into a nappy cover. Fabric on the outside and PUL on the inside to keep it waterproof!
